This week was supposed to be "Book Quote Freebie". But today is my birthday, turned 36, and I do what I want. (the 24th is my birthday)
These are the books I hope to find on my bookstore visit. It has been several years since the last time I've been to a book store. About 3 years, I don't have a local bookstore, so I hope on this trip I can find some books that I've been wanting to read and own for a while. This bookstore is about a 20-30 minute drive away from me.
There's no guarantee that I will find any or all of these since I am going to a second-hand store. It is going to be hopeful thinking for most if not all of these.

The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson - Have not read this, but I've liked everything else I've read by him. Even his least popular series, The Reckoners. So I'm pretty sure I'll like this too. I do have the first book as an Ebook, but I like to reference maps when a book has one, and that's harder to do with an ebook than with a physical book.

Theft of Swords by Michael J. Sullivan - This had been on  my 'want to read' for a while before I started hearing a bunch of good things about it. This is the first book in a cross-series story. If I can only some of the books from this cross-series that will be fine as well.

The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang - I've already read this trilogy, but I would love to own it.

The Bone Shard Daughter by Andrea Stewart - Another that I have been wanting to read for a while. I think the third book is coming out sometime this year.

Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend - I've read the three books that are out, but all through my library. I love this series so much, and would love to own them.

Yona of the Dawn by Mizuho Kusanagi - I'm almost completely caught up with the translated volumes, so I'll take any I can find there.

The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan - I keep hearing that the book is better than the show, which... low bar. I could just get this from the library but it's just a touch too long for me to read in the 3weeks that I can borrow it for and the wait time is also too long for me that if I don't finish it in 3 weeks to put it on hold to finish.

There are a lot of books that I don't own that I would like to, these are just some of them.

  1. Nice twist to the prompt - and it's good to have a shopping list so you don't get distracted by other books when you shop! my list is here: https://www.bookshelfjourneys.com/post/ttt-inspirational-reading-quotes
