Synopsis:
Geralt is a witcher, a man whose magic powers, enhanced by long training and a mysterious elixir, have made him a brilliant fighter and a merciless assassin. Yet he is no ordinary murderer: his targets are the multifarious monsters and vile fiends that ravage the land and attack the innocent. He roams the country seeking assignments, but gradually comes to realise that while some of his quarry are unremittingly vile, vicious grotesques, others are the victims of sin, evil or simple naivety.
In this collection of short stories, following the adventures of the hit collection THE LAST WISH, join Geralt as he battles monsters, demons and prejudices alike.
"He won't get out of here, I'm telling you," the pockmarked man said, shaking his head with conviction. "It's been an hour and a quarter since he went down. That's the end of 'im."
Friday 56:
"A dragon! There's a dragon there!"

Q: What is your favorite bookish podcast? (You can list more than one!) What do you like most about it?
A: I don't know of any. Please give me your recommendations and where I can listen to them, please.
I've been wanting to read the Witcher so badly that I even managed not to watch the show on Netflix. I just know that it will be a series that will get me.
ReplyDeleteI love zombies by the way! :D
Have a great weekend!
Here's my Friday Post
Sounds intense! Great excerpts. Thanks for sharing, and here's mine: “WATCH ME DISAPPEAR”
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for my hold to come in on this one.

I love the dragon teaser!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby would like this one, he plays the game. :-) Happy weekend, stay safe!
ReplyDeleteI really like Writing Excuses! That podcast is hosted by a handful of bestselling authors. It gives a bunch of pointers and insights into development, plot, world-building, etc... It will make you look at books from an entirely different perspective.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Friday post!

Oh no! I LOVE zombies. I feel they are way under rated. Recently actually read a series where the fmc was a ghoul. I think the creepy un-dead are a little unappreciated.
ReplyDeleteI love shifters!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up!
