And more manga. I have cut back on manga this year, which was something I wanted to do from last year. As I write this, I still have yet to finish any of the books I own, but I also feel the need to support my local libraries more now that ever.
-----------
This series is hilarious. Very lighthearted, and silly. There's minimal plot, but it's meant to be like that. It's just a silly goofy time, and sometimes that's a good thing. If you want some laughs, then this is a good one to read.
-----------
I still have no idea how many volumes this series is going to have and the longer this series goes on the more anxious I get for the characters. Some very heart wrenching things have happened in these volumes, and I don't like it. Everyone is supposed to be happy, Yona and her Dragons are supposed to be happy. I am getting the feeling that the author has lost the plot a little. I hope she finds it soon.
-----------
Now I have to wait for however long to read more, and I'm kind of mad about it.
It's been what feels like forever since I read volume 12, but I was able to very quickly mentally catch up to what's going on in this volume.
The characters in this series are wonderful. I love the discussion of morality this series presents. I am still excited for the anime, and can't wait.
-----------
This is cute. The characters all have a unique look to them, I like when mangaka take time to give each character a very distinct look, even down to eye shape. Unfortunately, I won't be continuing. There's just a touch too much melodrama and self-hate talk.
-----------
This one starts weird, and it stays kind of weird. At the end of the first volume, I wasn't sure what to expect from this story as a whole. There is the trope of "angry teen boy is mean to everyone, even the FMC, but not as mean, because... reasons."

Mao by Rumiko Takahashi, Vol. 19 (Read May 27)
I'm getting to the point where I almost want to wait a while to read more so I don't have to wait for the next volume to be published.
I did kind of forget some of what was going on at the end of the previous volume, but I remembered quick enough. There's a reveal in this volume that has made some of the story very interesting. But I still don't know what, some of, the point is. Yes, they're trying to stop the evil clan from doing whatever it is they're trying to do. But I still don't know what that is. There's also that cat demon, thing that has possessed our two MC's, but it doesn't seem like they're evil. And that's another thing that leaves me wondering. I'll probably keep reading, I just don't think I'm in a rush anymore.
-----------
The Ice Guy and the Cool Girl by Miyuki Tonogaya, Vol. 6 - 10 (Read May 20 - 27)
This series is so damn cute. It's easy to root for them to be a couple because of how sweet they both are. I like that this shoujo is about adults too, that's kind of the only issue I have with shoujo is that it's mostly teenagers/kids. Which is great for that age group, but I'm an old and don't always want to read about teens.
-----------
Dandadan by Yukinobu Tatsu, Vol. 10 (Read June 5)
This volume was wild. The art was fantastic, and I am very excited to see it animated. The storyline has been really interesting and pretty crazy as well. And I am so happy the next season is already almost here. I'm also almost caught up with the volumes that are out and translated, so I plan on taking a break until after season 2.
