Top Ten Tuesday: Authors Who Have a Fun Social Media Presence

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish,
Now, hosted by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl
To take part, just pick your top ten, and add the link here.

I'd never really thought about how many authors I follow on Social Media. I don't really know exactly what it's meant by

Susan Dennard - Last year from June to December she had a really fun "Choose your own adventure" twitter thread going, where followers would vote to choose what would happen next in the story. Even though she has a lot of followers, it feels like a  really tight-knit community, and it's very welcoming.

Ryan La Sala - He's so funny and seems like a really fun person. I'd love to meet him someday. (even though I haven't read his book yet. I plan to soon.)

Mark Lawrence - It's so rare for an author to share book reviews. He shares and likes reviews people have done for his own books, as well as reviews of books he's read. And I don't see many authors reviewing books.

Brigid Kemmerer - I have been a fan of her books since 2012 when I read Storm. She responds to tweets and engages with followers.

Jay Kristoff - He shares fan art, and is I love his brand of humor.

Hannah Lee Kidder - Indie-author, gives writing advice, Funny and adorable. (follow her on YouTube for the super quality content)

  2. I also love Karin Slaughter, she's cracking me up all the time on Facebook and does a special dance when a book becomes #1 in a country. Really fun!

  4. Susan Dennard and Jay Kristoff made my list, too! I really enjoy following both of them. I'm so disappointed that I completely blanked and forgot Ryan La Sala on my list. Where was my brain? He's fabulous, and I love all his posts. Just followed Mark Lawrence, since his feed looks fun (and I'm looking forward to reading his upcoming book!). Thanks for the recommendation.

    Here's my TTT post.
