Top Ten Tuesday: Freebie - Favorite Stand Alone Books

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish,
And has recently moved to That Artsy Reader Girl's site.
To take part, just pick your top ten, and add the link here.

I had to think about what to choose for this week's topic. I don't always like freebie topics because depending on how my week is already going I don't always have the brain power to choose for myself. This week is somewhere in the middle, and as of writing this, it's not even Tuesday yet. This list is in no particular order. Cover Linked to my review.

  2. I've read Cruel Beauty from this list! I do enjoy a good stand-alone.

  3. Much as I enjoy the opportunity for character growth, sometimes a standalone is the best. Especially because there's no longing/waiting for the next book - and authors like Sarah J. Maas certainly like to add lots of books to their series. :)

Of Beast and Beauty is on my shelf, but as of now, I haven't yet read it. Perhaps someday!

  4. I really enjoyed The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, but at the same time I kind of wish it was part of a series because I thought there were some things that could have been fleshed out more :)

    1. Yeah, it did have a pretty open ending. I think it could have been two books at most.
