Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Best Books I Read In 2015

I have read a lot of books this year. And unfortunately I hit a reading slump here in the past couple weeks and am a few books behind in my reading challenge. Also, I am bummed that many of the books that I came out this year that I wanted to read, I haven't had the chance to yet and I know they would have been favorites. Moving on, this is the list of books that I have read that are my favorites of favorites. (Also, if I started and finished a series I am counting it as one book. Because.... I can.)

This series is just so amazing. The characters will make you smile, and break your heart. (Goodreads)

I read the first and second book of this trilogy this year. I loved them both. Definitely check them out, and I am really excited for the third book. (Goodreads)

I loved this book so much. It had a wonderful magical feel to it that reminded me of Daughter of Smoke and Bone, my favorite series ever, and I am so looking forward to the next book. (Goodreads)

The first, and probably only standalone on this list. This book was awesome. And Holly Black is so good at writing standalone. (Goodreads)

Another one where I read both the first and second book this year. And my first two books I've ever read by Sanderson, and now I want to read everything he's written. (Goodreads)

A wonderful NetGalley find. Dragon-human hybrids, Awesome characters, and a fantastic story. If you like the sound of that, ya'll should check it out. (Goodreads)

Possibly my favorite fairytale re-telling ever. Also, I just love Maas's writing. This book could almost work as a stand-alone, but I am curious and interested in reading the rest of this series. (Goodreads)

I know this book got some reviews all over the place. Many didn't like it and some thought it was just okay. Few thought it was the best book ever. I fall somewhere between "OMG this book is awesome" and "This books was pretty good." My review goes more into that. (Goodreads)

I read a lot of first and second books of series's this year. I read them back to back, and it damned near destroyed me. The heart ache and just the feels put me in a slump for over a month. (Goodreads)

Okay... I'm kind of cheating here. I haven't finished this book yet and, because of some distractions, I'm not very far into it. But I know this book will be a favorite. (Goodreads)

  10. Very nice list! I need to read SO many of these- especially Queen of Shadows, Red Queen, and Gates of Thread and Stone. BUT I read The Darkest Part of the Forest and LOVED it, and I also really liked The Winner's Curse (I think I liked the second one better though!) and ACOTAR! Great choices :)
