Saw this tag over on Lauren's blog @ Always Me. I love the Potterverse, so I had to take part in this tag. So, if you love Harry Potter, you are tagged. :)
1. Favorite book?
This is when we really start to see how big the Wizard world really is. Before, everything took place inside the castle. In this book they go to Hogsmead, and Harry learns about Wizard Alcatraz. And learns more about his parents.
2. Favorite movie?
This was the first time that I felt the actors actually looked more like their characters. The redesign of the wands, while odd, eventually made sense. Things were left out and changed, but the first two movies were a little, "stiff" in it's adaptation.
3. Least favorite book?
The story was just a little weak compared to the rest of the series. I still love the whole series, just this one a little less than the rest. I haven't re-read these books in a while... I think it's time to.
4. Parts of the books/movies that made you cry?
I cried with laughter during many parts of the series, between the Twins and Ron's sarcasm.
I can't think of any parts that made me cry with sadness, though I was stunned silent in the last few chapters of Deathly Hallows.
5. Favorite character?
She is so unashamed of who she is, and confident in her quirkiness.
6. What would your Patronus be?
The Potoo Bird.
7. If you could have the Resurrection Stone, the Invisibility Cloak, or the Elder Wand, which one would you choose?
The Cloak.
8. What House would you be in?
According to Pottermore, I'm in Ravenclaw.. but in Real life..
I'm totally a Hufflepuff.
9. If you could meet any member of the cast, who would it be?
If I met any of them that would be awesome, Im not picky.
Although....
10. If you were on the quidditch team, what position would you play?
The announcer? I'm not very athletic... But if I cant be the announcer, I guess a Chaser.
11. Were you happy with the ending?
I guess... I mean. Somethings were kind of left open ended.
I really wanted to know if Harry ever reconnected with his Aunt and Cousin, if Hermione ever undid that spell on her parents.
12. How much does Harry Potter mean to you?
So much. I was late to the game reading Harry Potter. (A sophomore in high school, the first two movies were already out). I read the third book first since I saw the movies already. And I was instantly hooked.
Also.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HARRY!
I totally agree with you on the third being awesome, it was my favorite as well. We start to disagree with the movies though, the first two were really the only two I liked. I felt after the first two things moved away from the books too much.
ReplyDeleteIronically even though I am terrified of snakes I loved The Chamber of Secrets, I felt like it was the first glimpse of seeing how powerful Voldemort really is.
Dobby dying did not make you cry? I cried so hard when that happened.
How come this is the first time I have ever heard of that bird?
I could see you as either a Ravenclaw (what I got on Pottermore as well) or a Hufflepuff.
