I'm not really a big fan of seasonal books, they aren't fun to read during other times of the year. But there are some books that I want to read this summer, mostly just to get them off my "to-read" list.
*****
Ooh interesting list! I enjoyed Shiver, I really need to continue with the series though. I hope you enjoy these books! My TTT
ReplyDeleteI've heard mixed things about Shiver and The Raven Boys. I hope they are good.
DeleteYou have a unique summer must-reads! Most would pick contemporaries but you chose fantasies (or is it?)
ReplyDeleteMy Top 10 Tuesday
I'm a rebel :P. Also I recently read a bunch of contemporary books.
DeleteI've been meaning to read Cruel Beauty for ages now - I just love a good Beauty and the Beast retelling :) I should find a copy of it really soon! Great list!
ReplyDeleteA Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas is a really amazing Beauty and the Beast retelling.
DeleteI love your choices! The Raven Boys is one of my favourite books/start to a series ever, such an incredible story. And I loved Cruel Beauty, it was such an interesting re-telling of Beauty and the Beast.

I started The Raven Boys a couple weeks ago, but it has a really slow start, so I put it down to read at a later date. I hope it gets better soon.
DeleteI've read The Raven Boys, Shiver, and Cruel Beauty and I hope you love them as much as I did! I'm really looking forward to reading The Mime Order. :)
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT.
I've heard mixed things about all three of those books, I hope I enjoy them too. :)
DeleteNice list of books to read at the beach!! Here is a link to my Top Ten Tuesday post for this week: http://captivatedreader.blogspot.com/2015/05/top-ten-tuesday-ten-books-i-plan-to.html
ReplyDeleteThough I doubt I'll read any of them at the beach, even if I lived near one. It's Oregon those beaches require sweaters and thick shoes. Not ideal for swimming even in the summer. lol
DeleteI don't really do seasonal reads either. I hope you enjoy The Raven Boys!

DeleteIt does, I didn't really get into it until the latter half of the book but keep going it gets better!
DeleteI really need to read The Raven Boys. I have a blogging friend who loved it! Here's to a wonderful summer of reading!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I hope it's good too.
