Well, this is a little unfair, I'll see what I can do. Hopefully, I won't have to leave any out.
(Oh geez, here it goes)

*****

I will sing praises until the end of time for her books. Her writing is so magical and paints such a beautiful picture in my brain space, I love her and her gorgeous pink hair. I have only read her Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy but I want to read more of her work and I can't wait to read what she creates next.

She became a quick favorite. I read the novellas to her Throne of Glass series before starting the series. They were really cheap and those 4 novellas really drew me into the world and made me want to read more. I am so looking forward to the books she has coming out this year.

I have read almost everything this woman has written, and I love all of it. I can't get enough of her writing and her characters, she is like a wizard with how fast she is able to write and create stories.

I haven't read many of her books, just the two stand-alone ones she has out; those two books were so amazing and were written so well, that I have to add her.

Falling Kingdoms is such a great series, and her characters are amazing, not to mention the world-building. I am so excited for the next book in her series, I can barely stand it, then there's her spin-off series. I can't wait.

When I stumbled onto her Fall Away series, I assumed it was going to be a pretty cookie-cutter, easy quick read that I'd enjoy but in the long run, it would fall to the back of my mind. Boy was I wrong. It is amazing, and the final book just came out so I am also sad. But I look forward to reading more of her work in the future.

After binge reading the first two books in her Legend trilogy, then crying, followed by being in shock that I had to wait to read the final book. Then when I read it and cried some more and had an internal panic attack during one part of it. I knew she was going to be a favorite, (also we have the same first name, to me that's pretty awesome.)

I was also late to the party when it came to reading her books, but I got there. Across the Universe took me on a ride through the Galaxies, and then I read the Body Electric. Her writing has this almost flawlessness to it that sets it apart from other YA authors. I have a couple of her other short stories, I can't wait to see what she gives next. (I've been saying that a lot... but it's true)

The characters and the world she created for her Lunar Chronicles books are so well done, and interesting, that I kept forgetting that they are a fairy tale retelling when reading her books.

Her books can be a little hit or miss, I've read a few books by her, and I loved about 60% of the ones I've read. It seems she does better when not writing Paranormal Romance books, her Contemporary Romance books are really amazing. The ones that I've read that were a little bit of a miss, it was just small things that could have made the book amazing.

(2021 Edit: I had to edit a couple out, this was an old list, and there were a few that I had to take off for personal reasons. While it's unlikely that this list will be read this year, I had to remove the authors from the list because I no longer read their books. There were some honorable mentions that I removed for no negative reason, I just have lost interest in their books. And two authors from the main list that some of the content they're releasing lately is harmful in my opinion.)

  2. Your list has some good ones! I've recently got to the point where I'm falling in love with JLA, and she may soon be one of my favorites.

    1. It's hard not to be a fan of her writing. Though some of her characters have the same personality through most of her books, it never really bothers me, I love her books anyways.
