"Goodbye Aria," he says, and though he's determined, I can tell he's pained.
I sit, frozen with sadness. Even though he's telling me goodbye, the way he says my name feels like the warmest hello I've ever received."
The 56 sounds so sad. This sounds like a goodbye neither character wants to happen. I hope you're enjoying your read!
ReplyDelete;) Spoilers.
DeleteAnd yes I am. It's a really good book.
Sounds like they're both reluctant to part. I'm curious about what led them to this point and what happens next. Sounds like a good story.
ReplyDeleteMy Friday post features CHRISTMAS CRACKER.
This story starts as a mystery and it's about the MC, Aria, trying to figure out what has happened. At this point. She doesn't know why either of them are sad at their departure.
DeleteI bet they won't be apart for long, if at all. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the cover!
Happy weekend!
I'll be honest, the cover is one of the reasons why I bought it. Then I read the synopsis and I was more interested in reading it.
DeleteAria is a beautiful name. Never saw it as a name but it works.
ReplyDeleteArya Stark? :p
DeleteIt isn't very common.
So poignant. So sad. It's a lovely quote.

I've read 100 more pages since the quote, and things still haven't gotten much better. :'(
