Synopsis:
Katy knows the world changed the night the Luxen came.
She can't believe Daemon welcomed his race or stood by as his kind threatened to obliterate every last human and hybrid on Earth. But the lines between good and bad have blurred, and love has become an emotion that could destroy her—could destroy them all.
Daemon will do anything to save those he loves, even if it means betrayal.
They must team with an unlikely enemy if there is any chance of surviving the invasion. But when it quickly becomes impossible to tell friend from foe, and the world is crumbling around them, they may lose everything— even what they cherish most—to ensure the survival of their friends…and mankind.
War has come to Earth. And no matter the outcome, the future will never be the same for those left standing.

So, this is the last book in the Lux series. It has been a fantastic road, I instantly loved the chemistry between Katy and Daemon. I loved all the banter, the sassy comments, the comedy, the mystery of what the snarf was going on with Dee and Daemon and their friends. The other four books are so fantastic and you can never really predict what is going to happen...

This book is no different. I liked that the last two books were in both Katy and Daemon's POV. Even though I would really like to know all of what Daemon was thinking through the whole series, he is such a great character. Not a "bad boy" character, he's just cocky and I love that Katy doesn't let him get away with that kind of attitude.

Katy is my favorite female character ever. She is such a funny relatable character. And I loved that she as a book blogger. I also found a good number of books through the references in these books.

And thanks to the book tour that gave those teaser bits from this book I was extremely nervous going into this book. But I am so happy with how this book turned out. I was on edge through this entire book. I had no idea where anything was going. For all I knew, she could have decided to kill off everyone.

There was one part in particular that had me choking back tears, and I was hoping that maybe it wasn't completely true... but alas I was wrong.

I want more Katy and Daemon. Maybe Ms.Armentrout has some extra scenes that she has yet to share with us.

Seriously just go and grab any book she has written, I have read a good deal of her books, and I love them all.
