Review: Focus by Alyssa Rose Ivy

Crescent Chronicles #2
Book Summary Via Goodreads:
"Freshman year of college is hard even when you're not tied to the future king of a supernatural society.
Allie dives into college head first with Hailey as her roommate and the city of New Orleans as her backyard. As things within The Society heat up, Allie realizes that whether she’s with Levi or not, she's in far too deep to turn back."

As I mentioned in the last post, it's a pretty good series. The ending to the second book was much better than the ending to the first book. There is one small complaint I have for the book, the main character, Allie, is apparently the most desirable girl in the world. Yet her appearance was never really given, we are never told her hair color or eye color. Not given a height or anything, all that said about her is that every guy she meets says she's hot, and I find that to be kind of annoying.

The author keeps having characters say that she is really powerful and important, but I still don't really understand how or why she is. Maybe I missed something when reading it, who knows? I just hope that things get explained further in the next and final book and that we get a good satisfying conclusion to their story.
