I love both...I feel the same about The Iron Trial. I love both authors on their own and Harry Potter, but by the end I realized I was simply trying to count all of the Harry Potter references. As for Holly Black, I really love her Curse Workers series - it is fantastic! Think The Sopranos + Memento + Inception + gritty noir and criminalized magic. :)<br /><br />I was also really disappointed by Black Ice. I didn't really care for Hush, Hush. It felt like a dumb D-horror movie.
