Top Ten Tuesday: Love Freebie: Top Ten OTPs

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish,
And has recently moved to That Artsy Reader Girl's site.
To take part, just pick your top ten, and add the link here.
My first and foremost OTP is me and Ice Cream. But that's not what we're here to talk about.

1) Magnus and Alec, Shadowhunter series' by Cassandra Clare. They are probably the best couple in the entire Shadowhunter universe. Or at least my favorite. They are just super cute and in a way so pure. Magnus is hundreds of years old but it seems like Alec makes him feel like it's the first time he's been in love. And maybe Alec really is the first person he has really fallen in love with. That's what makes it seem so pure to me.

2) Daemon and Katy from the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I recently re-read a couple of books from this series, and I got to say, they are one of my favorite couples. One of those hate-to-love romances. But when they finally admit their feelings they don't change as people, they still tease each other, it just becomes less (for lack of a better word) hateful and more light-hearted.

3) Mik and Zuzanna, Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. Their short story, Night of Cake and Puppets, is of their first date and it's one of the cutest things ever. Also, if you've read the series, you really have to respect and admire the guy for how he handles things once he really gets drawn into the shenanigans of the series.

4) Cleo and Magnus, Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes. Um spoilers if you haven't read the series yet, I guess. But this series has been out long enough that if you haven't read it by not or at least started it, you aren't likely to. I had a feeling pretty early on that they were going to fall in love. They complete each other in many ways. Though Magnus did do a horrible thing in the first book, that would make you question this ever being a romance.

5) Ayden and Lyric, Unraveling You series by Jessica Sorensen. A beautiful story of friends that fall in love. They are probably the best couple in Contemporary Romance. They respect each other, they encourage each other. It's one of my favorite romances in a book.

6) Claire and Mia, A Story of Now by Emily O'Beirne. Another cute and sweet romance. This is also a coming of age story in a way. It's hard for me to explain the romance without giving away parts of the book.

7) Mason and Samantha, Fallen Crest series by Tijan. This is an odd choice in a way. They are both kind of shitty people. But they are shitty people who are perfect for each other. The circumstances of how they got together, is rather strange. But if you read this series you will see how much they really do love each other. Even though if the people in this series were real people I would hate them.

8) Emily and Logan, Reed Brothers series by Tammy Falkner. Really, any of these men and the women they fall in love with would work for this list. But Logan and Emily are the first couple we meet. That's all I'm going to say though. This series has so many books and novellas.

9) Jared and Tatum Fall Away series by Penelope Douglas. Friends that started to hate each other who then fall in love. It's a messy situation, and their road to trusting each other fully again is a long one. But it's worth it.

10) Cinder and Kai, Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. Everything about them is cute. How they met, especially. Learning to trust each other, lots of ups and downs. But I really love their interactions in the first book. How he is really trying to flirt with her and Cinder mostly just doesn't catch on very well with it.

  1. You and I picked the same theme for our Love freebie. I love Kai and Cinder, too, but I had so many choices I left them off my list. My Love Freebie

  4. Ha ha me and ice-cream is my OTP too! I've only read Daughter of Smoke and Bone so I haven't seen the full extent of Zuzana and Mik's cuteness yet, but I can't wait to.
