Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Finished Series I Have YET to Finish

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.
To take part, just pick your top ten, and add the link here.

I had to search my To-Read shelf on Goodreads to find most of these... I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to think of 10. Granted, I kind of cheated by choosing a couple I have yet to start. But I saw no rules against that.

Penryn and the End of Days by Susan Ee - I read the first two (through NetGalley) earlier this year. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Also, I have a really small book buying budget so I have to pick and choose which ones I spend my money on. And that makes me sad.

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead - I got the first book as an eBook for 0.99, and I just am too cheap to spend full price on the rest of the series. I am waiting to find it on sale somewhere.

Rephaim series by Paula Weston - I won the first book in a Giveaway, and wasn't that impressed with it. Then I got the sequel from NetGalley. I am just not really that motivated to read it. Like if I see the books at the Library I'll check it out, but I won't be going out of my way to find and read them.

Blodlines series by Richelle Mead - Technically I haven't started this series yet either. But I plan to. Soon.

The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice -  I read the first book (Interview with a Vampire) in middle school... (which was more years ago than I am willing to admit). And I just never picked up any of the rest of the books. I think I tried reading the sequel Vampire Lestat and I got sidetracked or bored.. I don't remember

Nancy Drew by Carolyn Keene - Is this series over? There are so many I honestly have no clue. I read a bunch of these in grade school and in middle school. But with there just being so many I kind of lost track of the ones I did read.

The Syrena Legacy by Anna Banks - I read the first two, and I still hold the opinion that they are really "meh" books. I didn't like the switching from first person to second person. The plot itself was a little dull. Basically, I don't plan on finishing this series.

Lies Beneath series by Anne Greenwood Brown - I read both the first and second books, got them both from Bookoutlet for pretty darn cheap. The third one is on there nowish for a 'me' price, but since I've recently got a few new books I am forcing myself to wait, and hopefully it'll still be there when I have the extra money.

Curse Workers series by Holly Black - Another series that I haven't technically started, but plan to soon.

Mortal Enchantment series by Stacey O'Neale - Read the first "two" (book that says its the first one is actually more like a prequel novella) the Novella was actually really interesting and  had me curious to the story, the actual first book was a fucking train wreck. It was boring and the narrator was different from the novella and I hated her. She was a cliche and a Mary Sue. Her telling the story ruined the series for me.

  6. Great list! I completely forgor about to put the Syrena Legacy on my list. I've read the first one, and it was okay. I'm not sure if I'm going to finish though.
    Have a great day!

  7. Yikes, there are 175 Nancy Drew books, according to Goodreads! You also reminded me that I need to finally, one day, finish The Baby-Sitter's Club books. There were apparently only like, four or five left after I stopped! Hope you enjoy End of Days, a lot of people really loved it!

  8. I completely forgot about the Curse Workers series! I have been meaning to finish that all year! And I can't believe you haven't finished the Rephaim series, I've recently binge read it because it was such an easy series to read, it wasn't groundbreaking, but it was fun. If you read the second book the cliffhanger may force you to keep reading. Great list, though, some good series on here.
