Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I've Read So Far In 2015

Oh jeez. What to choose. I have read so many books this year already. (About 90) I don't have much of a social life, and I'm a stay-at-home mom with a three-year-old.
I'm trying to go in the order I've read them in.

*****

The first book I finished in the new year. I finally got around to reading it, loved it, and was too broke to buy the rest of the series like I wanted to. Maybe I'll get it for myself for Christmas or something. (Review)

I've actually read three out of this four book series and loved them all. There is just something about Sorensen's writing in this series that makes me just love her books. She's written a few Urban Fantasy books, that just aren't as good her contemporary books. I still love her Shattered Promises series, but this is her best writing. Ayden breaks my heart, and Lyric is the kind of person we all wish we had as a friend. (Review)

Read both the first and second book early this year, both are amazing, and I can't wait for the third book. There's no title, or cover, but I don't care. I would time travel to read that book. (if time travel existed.. like it does in this series). This series is already a favorite. (Review)

This was my first Sanderson book. And boy did I pick a good one. I don't really know what took me so long to read one of his books, but damn this was a good one. One of the plot twists, I kind of guessed, the other I never saw coming. I really want to read the rest of the series, and more of his work. (Review)

Another instant favorite series, I received both the first and second book from NetGalley, and read them both in about a day. I have yet to read the third book, but the first two sent me on a wild ride. (Review)

Holly Black is the queen of stand-alone urban fantasy. This was my second book that I've read written by her, and I am really looking forward to what stand-alone she'll be writing next. (Review)

So, I also finally got around to reading this book as well this year. I give a lot of credit to one of my friends on Goodreads for this one. Whenever a book I have on my 'Want-to-read' list is free on amazon kindle, she sends me a message. She is pretty awesome to do that for me. (Review)

This book honestly took me by surprise. I thought it was going to be a little campy, I do love a campy urban fantasy every so often. But this book was really entertaining, and had a pretty solid plot. And dragon-shifters. It was hard to put this book down. (Review)

This book had to be on this list. I love Maas's writing and her characters. I love the way she uses fae lore and myths and writes unique and engaging stories. I am really excited to read more from this new fae world she has created. (Review)

My most recent addition to favorites. I've actually had this book for a while, just sitting there on my tablet, waiting for me to read it. I took so long to read it because of all the mixed things I've heard about it. So when I finally stopped procrastinating and read it, I will admit it took me a few chapters to get into the story, but once I did I was hooked. And thanks to the eLibrary in my city I am currently reading The Dream Thieves. (Review)

  1. I finally read Vampire Academy this year, too! It was really good and only missed making my list by a hair. Very much looking forward to reading the rest of the series as I keep hearing great things about it. Now I'm off to see what Waking the Dragon is because...well...like you said: dragon-shifters.
