Top Ten Tuesday!: Ten Authors I REALLY Want To Meet

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.
To take part, just pick your top ten, and add the link here.

This is going to be really hard, choosing only 10. (Just realized I have only female authors on here, didn't mean to .)

Laini Taylor
Author of the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy. Her writing really captivated me and drew me into the world she created. I would love to meet her and hopefully understand how she gets inspiration to write what she does.

Sarah J. Maas
Her writing is just so good. The sarcastic humor she gives her characters, for me, brings a level of realism to her characters that not everybody gives. Her main character of the Throne of Glass is not just an assassin, she also likes to get dressed up and be pampered. She likes pretty dresses and sharp knives.

Cassandra Clare
While some people might be getting tired of her writing Shadowhunter books, I think there is still enough room in that world to keep expanding. I love both Shadowhunter series', and I am excited to read more.

Marie Lu
She has a talent for taking a common genre and making it seem like something new. At least for me.

Abbi Glines
I have read so many of her books and they are so good. Her books were the first Contemporary Romance books I read, and her books are the ones that drew me to the genre, now it's one of my favorites.

Morgan Rhodes
If you have read Falling Kingdoms, then you'd want to meet her too. Those books are so good, and I am really excited to read the rest of that series.

Jennifer L. Armentrout
I have read almost all of her books, and I love them all. Her characters are funny, and she makes them seem like they could be real people if you took away all the paranormal stuff from them. She also seems like she'd be really fun to talk to.

JK Rowling
Who wouldn't want to meet her?

Leigh Bardugo
It's hard not to want to meet the author of one of your favorite book series ever. Her books had me close to tears and made me want to throw them across the room in the span of a paragraph.

Tahereh Mafi
The writing in her Shatter Me series, was so damn good. Way different than any other book I have read. And her main character had some of the best character development of any character I have read.

  2. Such an awesome list - I love your choices. Cassie Clare is so sweet and kind, it's a shame so many people are becoming frustrated with the number of Shadowhunter books. I love seeing all the different aspects on the shadowhunter world.

    1. Same here, and I love seeing characters cross over to into the other books. I am really looking forward to reading the next series, and when the Shadowhunter Academy stories are done I am going to read those too.
