I am a huge fan of reading books nobody has heard of, that way I can tell other people to read them and maybe get a lot of people to read the books.

*****

This series recently was finished, the perfect time to binge-read it. It is the most interesting and unique dystopian I have ever read. I see nothing that makes it similar to others. (Reviews: 1 2 3 4)

I will never stop talking about this series, it has vampires and gargoyles. It's been a while since I've read it and since the last book came out, but all I know is that I think more people should read this series, as well as her other books. She writes really twisted and interesting stories. There is still one more book in this series, and I am really looking forward to it. (Reviews: 1 2 3)

Another series that I think more people should check out. There's a fourth book set to come out, but I'm not sure if it's needed considering how the third one ended. I still plan on reading it when it comes out because I love the characters and the world. (Reviews 1 2 3)

This series was a surprise. It's YA, there is no love triangle, no instalove. I read this series a couple years ago, so I don't remember all of the details, but I do remember enjoying the books. (Reviews: 1 2 3 4)

This was a surprise find through NetGalley. It's a stand-alone, though I wouldn't mind more books set in this world. The characters and the plot were great. (Review)

This series, oh my god this series. I love it. I loved all the books, even though the fourth one was a little cluttered with side plots, I still loved it. The Merrick brothers are great, Hunter... I kind of like, But Chris and Becca will always be my favorite since they were the start of the series. The novellas, I only read one of them. (Reviews: 1 2 3 4 5)

This is another find through NetGalley. The first book is more of a novella in length compared to the others. Parts are a little cliche, but each book gets better and better. The series isn't done yet, but I think it's worth checking out. I mean, the MC is a half-fae, Fae-bounty hunter. (Reviews: 1 2 3)

This one not being that well known has more to do with it still being kind of new. Well, it came out in October, so maybe it's not that new. The first in a new series though. This book has Aliens and a twist that I wasn't expecting. (Review)

I seemed to be in the minority of people that liked this book. People got too hung up on the part in the blurb that claimed it was like Game of Thrones meets Grimms fairy tales, others were too concerned about it being called a re-telling of Sleeping Beauty. Neither of these things were true about the book, and once I figured that out, I just read the book and it was really good. So here I am telling people they should give it a chance, and read it. (Review)

The only contemporary series on this list. I love this series. I love all the characters in this series. I love that the male characters aren't cliche asshole/"bad boy" characters that innocent doe-eyed girls fall for because they are hot. Yes, they are hot, they have tattoos, but they are all nice respectful guys. Also, all the titles are alliterated too, so that's a fun perk. I have yet to read all the books in this series (there are I think 8 or 9), as well as the little novellas. I want to read them all, they are fun feel good without being too fluffy reads, also she has safe for younger eyes versions of her first two books. (Reviews: [full books] 1 2 3 4 5)  I read three of the novellas, I just didn't write a review for them.

  1. I have Princess of Thorns of my tbr list for this summer! I've seen mixed reviews for it. I loved the author's previous book, Of Beast and Beauty, so I have high hopes I'll like this one :)

    1. If you don't think of it as a re-telling of Sleeping Beauty, then you should like it. I think it's worth picking up.
