Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books Which Feature Characters Who Kick Ass

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

This was a tough list to make. I don't like when I get to choose the topic like this, I never know what topic to choose. Okay, here I go.

*****

Solider turned revolutionary. She is just a really awesome character that I had to add to this list.

From his wit to his conviction, he is more than just a pretty face. He often acts like he has no cares in the world, but in reality he cares deeply for those that matter to him, and always wants to do the right thing.

Nothing needs to be said about her.

Her sass, and determination are just a couple of reasons why she is on this list.

Cinder is possibly the most amazing character out there. She risks her life to try and save those that wouldn't cared if she lived or died, only because it's the right thing to do.

Karou, what can I say about her that isn't just the biggest spoiler for the series, If you read it, you can figure out why I put here her. If you haven't read the trilogy, do so and find out why.

Because he's Simon, what other reason is there?

This character, from a not well-known series, (Something I am trying to change) hardly has any spoken lines, but he is just a Bamf. What he does, and how he does it is just awesome.
(seriously though, everyone should read these books)

Magnus, Oh Magnus. Basically he's here, not because of anything Heroic he does, but just because I can. He is not a hero, he is not anybody's White Knight. But he still kicks ass.

Penryn is such a resourceful character, she knows deep down that if she could be on her own she could survive anything, bu she is so damn loyal to her family. Her sister is wheelchair-bound, and her mother is bananas. The lengths she goes to protect them is just awesome. Then there are her Angel ass-kicking skills.

  1. Nice list! I've seen the mortal instruments pop up a few times now and I am looking forward to starting it soon.

    1. They are worth checking out. You should also read her other series, The Infernal Devices.
      Thanks for commenting.

  2. Cinder is my favourite character out of that whole series so far. She is just so amazing and any scene with her in are so much better. Great list :)

    1. Same here. I have a few theories about how the series will end, and I hope I'm right. :)
