Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Books For Readers Who Like Under-rated Books

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.
This week it's the Top Ten Books for people who like (Fill in the blank) I went with Under-rated books since I have read quite a few that I think deserve more attention.;
To take part, just pick your top ten, and add the link here.

Lonely Souls (Witch Avenue #1) by Karice Bolton
For those that like stories about Witches.  Great entertaining story with some mystery and betrayal. Four books make up this really great series. I kind of want to re-read it now.

A Demon Made Me Do It (Demonblood #1) by Penelope King
For those that like stories about Demons, and Angels that is a little different than others. The lines of who is good and who is bad, and what that means is blurred in this story. I've read the first three books, a fourth one is planned but the third book ended in a way that makes me curious as to how the story will continue.

 Vampires, Gargoyles, Humans. Oh, my!
A beautiful story with some wonderful writing. There are four books in this series, the final book is due to come out soon (I hope, I've been waiting about a year)

Post-apocalyptic, with Vampires and zombies, survival, and a kick-ass female lead. I've read the first two and have yet to read the final book. I just need to find it first.

Science Fiction, dystopian, aliens, loads of action, great characters, and just such a unique story I can't help but tell everyone to read this. There are four books to the series and they are all out.

This book was so good. It's only been out since October, but it was nothing like I expected it to be. Shapeshifters, hunters, and magic. All along with some really great characters and an unexpected alliance and connection.

This book came out late last year, and I feel that it's almost my duty to tell people to read this book. It was just so good. It has magic, mystery, betrayal, assassins, treachery, and a great cast of characters all delivered in a wonderfully written story.

Aliens, Dystopia, awesome characters, and great dialog. This book was wonderful and surprising on so many levels. The first 25-30% was a little shaky, but it quickly picked up and gave a great story that wasn't saturated in tropes and insta-love. Insta-attraction maybe, but I think everyone should read this.

Valkyrie, Norse mythology, kick-ass female lead. This series needs all the attention, and then some. I have the 4th book on my TBR for this year. I am really excited to read it.

The Girls of Alcyone (Alcyone #1) by Gary Caffrey
A World filled with long-distance space travel. Girls trained from a young age to be soldiers. Cyberpunk and a little bit Space Opera. This series is worth picking up. (Even though the sequel was a little bit of a letdown)
